The hat is lovely quality, but the size 6 to 12 months is way too small for my 8 month old grandson. I think people should know this hat runs very small. I didn’t see this mentioned in other reviews or I would have purchased a larger size.

United StatesSoft breathable fabric with quality stitching. If your baby’s size is in higher percentile range for their age, you should size up a size. Our 4 month old has no problem wearing this hat. The brim coverage has great coverage for sun protection.

We purchased this hat for our almost-three-year-old son before our Mexico vacation. Our expectations were pretty low because he doesn’t like hats, but our experience was the opposite! Because he loves trucks and the hat was comfortable, our son wore this hat every time we were on the beach! Now, he wears it when we go to the pool and doesn’t complain. We were very excited to get our hats. We love the quality and the safety. But the 2T size was just too small for my twins (one boy, one girl) who are 2.5 years old. I needed them for a trip and got them just in time so I am using them but they pop off their heads all the time on account of the size!

My 18 month old always pulls hats off his head. But he loves this little hat and does not take it off. It is firm and keeps the sun off the top part of his face. I liked it so much I have three of these hats all together.
