I find myself wondering why you would continue to sell a product with a known issue with the hook and eye closure, as stated in multiple reviews, the workmanship and durability is not so good, I had to sew Then back on after one where… And sleeves generally run long on most things for me, which I actually like, but these are too short… I'm not sure what your return policy is, but my preference would be to return it for full refund. Other than that, I really like the concept of a sun shrug.

I really like the shrug, it is the perfect cover-up for my sun dresses for church. When I first received it, it was very wrinkled and after washing it it still was wrinkled so I steamed it and it turned out great.

United StatesSizing Inconsistent - Clasp Flimsy
This item is the perfect solution for me. However, the first 2 I bought were size XL and the fit was perfect (not skintight like a wetsuit, loose and airy. I wear a size 16. I bought a 3rd online but XL was sold out so I bought a 2XL. It fits smaller than the XL's I bought months before. Baffling. I washed one for th 1st time as directed. Hand wash, Cold water, light delicate detergent.. It shrank. Now I cannot close it and the sleeeves don;t come to my wrists anymore. The 3rd issue is the neckline clasp. For $50+ dollars, I would expect a better clasp. The clasp is a silver hook but they only give you a vague tanlge of thread on the other side. A sewn in ring would be expected for $50+.

I was looking for something lightweight that I could wear to cover my shoulders and arms while I rode my bike on sunny hot days. Didn’t want to wear a full top so this crop shrug is perfect. I’m 5’5, 125 lbs, and bought a medium because I have fairly broad shoulders though a flat chest, and it fits really nicely, not snug so I can move around but slightly fitted and flattering. The little clasp to keep it closed can be awkward to use because it’s so tiny but that is a minor detail. Would love to see this in other colors and prints, I would definitely get more.
United States“Clasp” fell off immediately, poor quality for the price
I was so excited to find this shrug to wear while riding my bike. Unfortunately, the “clasp” (which is really just the hook part of a hook & eye closure on one side and a flimsy loop of thread to hook it through on the other) broke after only three wears. I really wish they would have used a snap, Velcro, or some other more reliable closure. Also, the sleeves are far too short to make use of the thumb holes. There is zero stretch along the seam where the thumb hole is placed, so you can’t stretch it down enough to use. I have never encountered this with any other garment that has thumb holes. I was hoping to have the additional protection over my wrists and hands while on my bike, but the sleeves are just too short and can’t be stretched. I don’t even have particularly long arms. So this shrug is a great concept, but not well executed. Really wish there were more thought put into the design and construction. It seems super cheap quality considering the high price point.

Hi Sherri, Thank you for your recent review and feedback. We are so sorry about the clasp for the Women's Classic Shrug. This is definitely not typical. We have revamped this clasp to be a bit sturdier. Unfortunately, there are still units of the older style in rotation at this time. Until all of these are used up, there is a possibility of receiving one of these. We are currently working on a process to get the old ones out of rotation. We understand your frustration with the sleeve length. If you are wanting another shrug with longer sleeve length, we recommend the Women's Active Swim Shrug, as that one has longer sleeve length and a zipper in the front. If you are not intending to use it in the water, we recommend our Women's Crossover Wrap, which is made with our Bamboo Viscose Blend. This style also has a longer sleeves and is able to be tied in the front. We don't want you holding onto something you don't absolutely love.
