Measuring Tips

Here are some tips to help you order the correct size. If you don't have a measuring tape, no problem! Use a piece of string or ribbon to mark the measurement and then hold it alongside a ruler or yard stick to find the measurement.

Head Circumference

Measure around your head just above your ears angling slightly up across your forehead to get your full head circumference.

Bust

Lift your arms slightly and measure around your body (without a shirt is best), crossing over the fullest part of your chest.

Chest

Lift your arms slightly and measure around your body (without a shirt is best), crossing over the fullest part of your chest.

Waist

Measure around the natural waist, where you normally wear your pants, shorts or skirt.

Waist

Measure around your waist where your pants or shorts usually fall.

Hip

Stand with your heels together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Seat

Stand with your heels together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Arm Length

With your arm bent at 90 degrees, place your hand on your hip. Measure from the back of your neck to your shoulder, elbow, and wrist.

Foot Length

Lay a ruler or yardstick on the ground and stand with your heel positioned at “zero”. Measure the full foot length from heel to the end of your big toe. If you have a second ruler, its handy to use the second ruler to make sure your heel aligns perpendicular to “zero” and big toe aligns perpendicular to the final foot length measurement

Love the zip front!

I was looking for a full zip rash guard for easier on/off, and this is perfect. I am 5'5", 135 lb., and usually order a Small, but went with the Medium. It's still snug for swimming, but not too tight. Love the colors, and very high quality fabric/construction.

Rash guard is very tight all over for my comfort. Also, the sleeves length is very long also. My Coolibar rash guards in a similar style in size Medium is roomier and I wished I would have size down in that brand. I was hoping the UV SKINZ rash guard would have fit better for me. Will return product as I believe sizing up will not solve the sleeve length.

Love it!!

When you first get it you're probably gonna be worried about the tightness of it, but TRY IT OUT!!! Maybe order it a size above what you're thinking. I was skeptical when I first put it on, it was very tight fitting and not very flattering around my tummy area (which I don't care much about, but some people might), but this thing felt perfect in the water. I barely even noticed it. It is skin tight, but that's the nature of this type of shirt. If you don't like that aspect, you should go with a loose fitting shirt that they sell (I got one of those too!). It kept me cool in the sun after it was wet, felt warm in the water, and the best part is that it kept me safe from the sun. I didn't wear any sunscreen underneath where the shirt covered just to test it out, and I didn't get any sunburn. It dried pretty fast while I was wearing it. I think it dried faster on me while wearing it than the time I tried just laying it out in the sun for a little bit. So happy to finally own a shirt like this.
