Measuring Tips

Here are some tips to help you order the correct size. If you don't have a measuring tape, no problem! Use a piece of string or ribbon to mark the measurement and then hold it alongside a ruler or yard stick to find the measurement.

Head Circumference

Measure around your head just above your ears angling slightly up across your forehead to get your full head circumference.

Bust

Lift your arms slightly and measure around your body (without a shirt is best), crossing over the fullest part of your chest.

Chest

Lift your arms slightly and measure around your body (without a shirt is best), crossing over the fullest part of your chest.

Waist

Measure around the natural waist, where you normally wear your pants, shorts or skirt.

Waist

Measure around your waist where your pants or shorts usually fall.

Hip

Stand with your heels together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Seat

Stand with your heels together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Arm Length

With your arm bent at 90 degrees, place your hand on your hip. Measure from the back of your neck to your shoulder, elbow, and wrist.

Foot Length

Lay a ruler or yardstick on the ground and stand with your heel positioned at “zero”. Measure the full foot length from heel to the end of your big toe. If you have a second ruler, its handy to use the second ruler to make sure your heel aligns perpendicular to “zero” and big toe aligns perpendicular to the final foot length measurement

Great hat with one problem.

Overall I really loved this bucket hat. It fits well and kept me shaded well. The only issue I had with it is the tag attached to the hat can't be fully removed since it is stitched into the hat. This is a huge issue because the hat is reversible! I would have given this a 5 star review if it had no tag or the tag could be easily completely removed. UV Skinz please fix this issue!

Sun Protection in a Cute Hat

Lovely color blue and provides sufficient coverage with a good brim size; not so large that it prevents good peripheral vision, but covers my face and ears. Brim is also just stiff enough to prevent flopping. Very packable.

Comfy enough to wear all day long and provides great protection. Withstands pool and sea water. IMHO, not 100% reversible - strap slider is uncomfortable when you wear on the inside (the black and grey is only grey for me). Nonetheless, very happy with my purchase!

Real Two layer sun protection hat.

The moment I wore this awesome and esthetic hat , the confidence rise up to ever seen before. The way to test it is after 20' of intense sun light at noon, 32 C. I removed the bucket hat and placed my palm on the scalp, I am bald and developed some small spots of skin cancer from decades of sun exposure. My head was as cool as before. !!!! Extremely good.
