Measuring Tips

Here are some tips to help you order the correct size. If you don't have a measuring tape, no problem! Use a piece of string or ribbon to mark the measurement and then hold it alongside a ruler or yard stick to find the measurement.

Head Circumference

Measure around your head just above your ears angling slightly up across your forehead to get your full head circumference.

Bust

Lift your arms slightly and measure around your body (without a shirt is best), crossing over the fullest part of your chest.

Chest

Lift your arms slightly and measure around your body (without a shirt is best), crossing over the fullest part of your chest.

Waist

Measure around the natural waist, where you normally wear your pants, shorts or skirt.

Waist

Measure around your waist where your pants or shorts usually fall.

Hip

Stand with your heels together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Seat

Stand with your heels together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Arm Length

With your arm bent at 90 degrees, place your hand on your hip. Measure from the back of your neck to your shoulder, elbow, and wrist.

Foot Length

Lay a ruler or yardstick on the ground and stand with your heel positioned at “zero”. Measure the full foot length from heel to the end of your big toe. If you have a second ruler, its handy to use the second ruler to make sure your heel aligns perpendicular to “zero” and big toe aligns perpendicular to the final foot length measurement

Constantly pulling them up

I wanted to love these - for confidence at the beach and for sun protection while kayaking. Sadly, I hate them. Maybe I need a smaller size but they are constantly pulling down, ESPECIALLY when wet. Being lined - there’s a lot of fabric there and when you simply walk, they pull down. When wet - forget it. Any smaller might feel too tight in the waistline. Maybe better if they had a drawstring at the waist? So bummed.

Very nice but ....

I love the material, it is great for swimming and protects from UV but I want to wear it more than just for swimming (such as walking, exercise, etc.). It needs pockets (at least one) for sure that can hold a phone or card. I ordered my size based on the charts and while it appears to fit, the waist slides down constantly. I don't know if its the silky material or maybe it needs an addl drawstring to tighten if needed (like men's bathing suits). But I do like it.

Disappointed

I’m a bit disappointed. I have another pair I bought a few years ago that have a wider waist band. Much smoother fit than this pair. They also fit a tad large but I know an xtra small won’t fit my waist, especially with the tiny elastic band.Ill keep this pair but I won’t be buying anymore unless you go back to the wide smooth waist band

Strange fit

The material was decent but the fit was strange, they didn’t stay up and could either be worn just under your ******* or with the crotch sagged half way to your knees. Was beyond disappointed after the high price tag.

Rise is too long

I bought these because I love the Baltic Tropics print but the Active Swim Jammerz (which I prefer) are not available in that print. I’m not a fan of the ties; I don’t like how they tickle my legs when I walk and they don’t serve a purpose. The rise is 3 inches too long on me.
